EMDR Intensives
Sometimes clients are interested in doing work over a more condensed period (ie. 5 hours a day for three days). This can be beneficial for clients who have the time and resources and want to accomplish a lot of memory processing. Sometimes clients do this in while continuing with weekly therapy and some clients seek this service out independently.
Intensive EMDR sessions are particularly helpful for folks who live far away, have a specific delineated set of concerns or memory targets to work on, or/and who currently feel a pressing motivation in processing through their trauma timeline quickly, versus stretching it out over weeks and months of weekly hourly therapy.
Currently these are the time frames available, yet I can explore other days of the week with at least a months notice.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday all day (9:30 am to 12:30 pm, lunch break on your own, 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm) half days are an option, or some configuration thereof.
Intensives are NOT covered by insurance, and I charge a daily sliding scale rate ($150-$275 per hour, for a range from $900 to $1650 per 6 hours).
The sessions can be scheduled for either indoors, outdoors (for indoors, with the provision that individuals are fully vaccinated), or via Telehealth.
A prearranged PayPal or Venmo deposit (of $300) is required to book an intensive, with payment to be expected at the end of each day via cash, credit card, PayPal, or Venmo.
