About Desiree
I am a seasoned, neurodivergent clinician licensed to practice social work in both Massachusetts and New York. I graduated from Smith College School for Social Work in 2011 and have been practicing EMDR and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy to treat complex PTSD since 2014. My focus is exclusively on supporting individuals recovering from complex PTSD and structural dissociation, integrating ego state psychotherapy, EMDR, Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy (DNMS), and the theory of structural dissociation of the personality—all grounded in a psychodynamic clinical foundation. This holistic approach is designed to respect the complexity of trauma while fostering authentic, long-lasting healing.
I am also an EMDRIA-Certified Therapist and Consultant, offering consultation to therapists seeking their EMDRIA certification and Consultant-in-Training hours in the United States. Drawing on extensive experience in pediatric, academic, and outpatient settings, I tailor interventions to each client’s unique needs.
